Arrow Trucking Co., one of the largest flatbed transportation companies in North America, announced it has entered into an equipment finance agreement with Daimler Truck Financial. “This is very exciting for Arrow,” says Doug Pielsticker, chief executive officer of Tulsa, Okla.-based Arrow Trucking. “It will be used to facilitate the purchase of new equipment for our operations, as well as consolidate our tractor and trailer financing at very favorable terms.”

The agreement continues a longstanding relationship between Arrow and Daimler Truck Financial. “This agreement with our friends at Daimler Truck Financial ensures Arrow’s ability to utilize only the highest-quality equipment in our operations,” Pielsticker says. “We are excited to announce that within the next five years, we will replace virtually 100 percent of our current tractor fleet with tractors that have historically been the best received by our drivers and most appreciated by our maintenance personnel.”

Arrow operates more than 1,400 tractors and 2,700 trailers in its over-the-road flatbed transportation business. “Our business model is straightforward — provide quality transportation services to our customers at reasonable prices,” says Tom Witt, president of Arrow Trucking. “A critically important element in accomplishing this is quality equipment for our drivers. This long-term agreement ensures that Arrow will provide its drivers with the most cost-effective, safe and most comfortable tractors available today, for in the end, its our drivers who will play the major role in completing our mission — service to our customers for years to come.”
