The new enhancements are designed to allow customers to more easily find information on the company’s Fleetguard products.
“Our redesign process began with listening to our customers’ feedback about the existing Web catalog – both our strengths and our opportunities for improvement,” says Cindy Leddy, catalog manager for Nashville, Tenn.-based Cummins Filtration. “The result is a more user-friendly Web catalog where customers can find detailed part information on Fleetguard products, look up applications and cross-reference original equipment and competitive part numbers.”
Visitors to the Cummins Filtration online catalog will find a one-click navigation system to help them maneuver easily from one search function to another. The upgraded product detail and cross-reference search can process up to 100 part numbers at a time, the results of which can be added to a downloadable worksheet for easier data management, the company says.
In addition to featuring a more flexible application lookup, the team has added a “quick search” function based on equipment make and model when the manufacturer is not known. The team also has worked on improving part descriptions and ensuring the Cummins Filtration online catalog contains the most accurate up-to-date information available.
