PPG Refinish says more than 11,000 students participated in its training courses in 2007. The classes, ranging in subjects from technical training to business management and more, were held at PPG training centers throughout North America and in affiliate locations in more than 100 key markets.

According to Bill Troyer – manager of North American refinish training for Strongsville, Ohio-based PPG – ongoing training and support is critical for the ever-changing refinish industry. “PPG’s commitment to training may be the largest in the industry,” Troyer says. “Providing and delivering training programs that offer our business partners and customers resources with which to achieve their goals is an investment that pays off for everyone involved.”
