Nirmal Tolani recently assumed duties as director of business development for Hendrickson’s international operations. In this new role, Tolani will assist in development of Hendrickson’s joint ventures in India and have responsibility for other international business development activities as they arise. Based in Woodridge, Ill., Tolani will report directly to Mike Keeler, vice president of international operations.
Tolani comes to Hendrickson from Navistar, International Truck and Engine Division at Fort Wayne, Ind., with more than 30 years of experience in technical support to product design and development; product reliability and quality; manufacturing; and global sourcing and supplier development. Most recently, he held the position of manager of metallic materials and specifications.
Tolani is fluent in several Indian languages, including Hindi, the most commonly used language in India. He also is a registered professional engineer.
