The Manufactured Housing Institute has named Chris Barrett, executive vice president of Bennett Truck Transport, as its 2008 Supplier Person of the Year. The National Industry Award was presented by MHI at a ceremony at the 2008 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing held at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
“This award is a significant achievement because it reflects the commitment of Bennett Truck Transport’s owner-operators and our agents to exceeding the expectations of our manufactured housing customers,” Barrett says.
Bennett Truck Transport — headquartered in McDonough, Ga. — transports factory-built housing, commercial buildings and recreational vehicles, consisting of three divisions specializing in Toter, Pick-Up and Towaway freight.
