Detroit-based third-party logistics provider NLM announced that it again earned a spot on the Inner City 100 list as one of the fastest-growing inner-city companies in the nation. NLM, which garnered this recognition for the fourth year, was selected from nearly 7,000 entrants.

The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, a national nonprofit research organization and Inner City 100 award sponsor, and Inc. magazine ranked NLM 58th on this year’s list, announced May 1 at the 10th annual Inner City 100 Summit in Boston. The annual list celebrates entrepreneurship and business success, showcasing companies thriving in urban areas across the country and creating jobs, income and wealth for the inner-city community.

“Our presence on the Inner City 100 list is a special honor since it not only recognizes our business successes but also our dedication to remaining in the inner city and strengthening the community,” says Greg Humes, president of NLM. “NLM is committed to the inner city of Detroit, which has been our headquarters since the company’s inception.”
