Qualcomm Enterprise Services (QES) announced a new predictable pricing plan to simplify customers’ jobs and eliminate barriers to deploying new services.
The new Unlimited Value Plan includes all the messaging and services for daily business operations for one flat-rate price, making it easier than ever to deploy and benefit from the suite of OmniVision Transportation services, the company says. The predictable pricing structure is available for enrollment until September 30, 2008.
The pricing plan also includes the following value-added services:
Performance Monitoring Service. This service enables fleets to manage fuel costs, safety and productivity more effectively by tracking vehicle and driver performance via direct interface with the vehicle’s sensor inputs or onboard data bus.
(LM>Critical Event Reporting. This service is an automatic vehicle-monitoring capability that continuously monitors fleet vehicles for critical safety-related events.
Hours of Service. This application provides near real-time monitoring of drivers’ hours, allowing dispatchers to access current information about driver availability and reports including duty status, driving time, and remaining hours of service by Web browser.
Automated Arrival & Departure. This service automatically tracks arrival and departure times at both planned and unplanned stops–eliminating the manual process for drivers.
(LM>QTracs Portal. This application provides dynamic fleet and driver management through messaging, vehicle tracking, and mapping. It displays vehicle locations with proximity to nearest cities and has current and historical locations on satellite maps.
Services Portal. This web-based application provides a scalable and secure access point to Qualcomm-hosted services, allowing centralized access to fleet data from any PC.

Electronic Forms (macros) provides the ability to setup, configure, and update electronic forms across an entire fleet.
