Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions has announced price increases in the United States of up to 5 percent for tread rubber products to its Bridgestone Bandag franchised dealers. No increase is being taken for tread rubber products in Canada. The new pricing is now in effect.

“Unprecedented energy prices continue to impact our costs, particularly for raw materials and transportation,” says Saul Solomon, president of Muscatine, Iowa-based Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions. “We’ll continue to focus on enhancing our operational efficiencies and increase productivity so that we may only pass on increased costs as absolutely necessary. Our Bandag dealer network will continue to offer quality retread tires, as well as preventive maintenance services, to help fleet customers control their operating costs at a time when they need it most.”
