Magnum Express announced that it recently received the Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores’ Platinum Service award, honoring the company for 99.9 percent on-time service. Magnum says this marks the sixth consecutive year it has been recognized for its service by Lowe’s.
Magnum says that in 2007, it delivered about 10,000 loads for Lowe’s and was on time 99.97 percent, with only four loads being delivered late. Scot Sauer, director of capacity development for Indianapolis-based Magnum Express, gives credit for the award to the company’s excellent drivers.
“What a trucking company has to sell is service,” Sauer says. “It’s how you deliver your freight. This award is because of the drivers.”
