Mobile Awareness names Stotsenburg director of sales and marketing

Mobile Awareness, a provider of transportation safety products, announced today, May 12, the appointment of Brandon Stotsenburg, a 20-year transportation and automotive industries veteran, as director of sales and marketing. Stotsenburg has led sales and marketing teams for Bridgestone/Firestone, Goodyear and, most recently, Alcoa Wheel Products. While at Alcoa, he launched the Dura-Bright technology for automotive wheels, which received the 2007 P.A.C.E. award. In addition, Stotsenburg was responsible for expanding the distributor channel with 460 new retail locations.

“Brandon adds a wealth of practical experience and strategic knowledge that will aid in the further development of our VisionStat, TireStat and SenseStat product lines”, says Gary Rothstein, president of Cleveland-based Mobile Awareness. “Mobile Awareness is positioned as an innovative leader of affordable transportation safety systems; we are extremely excited that Brandon will be managing the team responsible for furthering our sales and marketing efforts.”

Stotsenburg will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing, including brand and product development. His initial brand focus will be on the TireStat tire pressure monitoring system, as he is an active Select Committee member of SEMA’s Wheel and Tire Council.
