Quality Distribution Inc. has announced the election of Thomas M. White as chairman of the board. White is currently an operating partner for Apollo Management L.P., specializing in the distribution and transportation industry. Prior to Apollo Management, he was senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Hub Group Inc. from 2002 to 2007. White began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he spent 23 years in a variety of partner leadership roles.
