FreightScan, a developer of technology solutions for the freight and logistics industry, introduced CargoVizion, a 3D imaging system for cargo screening, at the CNS Partnership Conference held recently in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
According to the company, its nonradiation CargoVizion system for cargo screening attaches to its FS100 automatic dimensioning system and captures a three-dimensional image of the contents of cargo in seconds.
FreightScan says the next-generation “look-inside-the-box” screening technology screens 100 percent of cargo — from 12-by-12-inch boxes up to fully loaded skids and pallets — for threat objects, identifying elevated-risk shipments for secondary screening.
