AmeriQuest Transportation Services Inc. has announced that Mark Joyce has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. He previously had been CFO for the Cherry Hill, N.J.-based provider of fleet management services.

“Mark has been instrumental in helping move the company’s financial results ahead in a very challenging time in our industry,” says Douglas Clark, president and chief executive officer of AmeriQuest. “We will look to him to help us shape and drive the future of the company as we continue to enhance our fleet management services to independent leasing companies, private fleets and truckload carriers.”

Joyce began his career in the transportation industry when he joined NationaLease Purchasing Corp. in 2001 as corporate controller. He was promoted to vice president of finance in 2002 and to vice president and CFO in 2004. In December 2006, as a result of the merger of AmeriQuest and NationaLease, Joyce was named CFO of AmeriQuest. Joyce also serves as the company’s corporate treasurer and secretary. Prior to joining NationaLease, Joyce worked with the Goeken Group Corp. as corporate controller from 1999 to 2001 and McGladrey & Pullen LLP as manager and internal control specialist from 1992 to 1999.

He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Illinois and New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Executive’s Club of Chicago.
