CargoWise edi, a provider of integrated international supply chain logistics management systems, announced that Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) will be installing CargoWise edi’s ediEnterprise software solution to streamline international supply chain operations.

CargoWise edi will be providing OH Logistics offices worldwide with a full range of ediEnterprise modules, including ediForwarder, ediWarehouseManager and ediBroker for the U.S. Customs Automated Broker Interface (ABI).

Richard White, CEO of CargoWise edi said, “We are delighted OH Logistics has chosen ediEnterprise as its global logistics platform of choice, and with OH Logistics we have a smart partner that can leverage our platform and our U.S. ABI capability. The globally integrated ediEnterprise solution will provide an enhanced level of service to OH Logistics and its customers, while reducing costs and deepening operational abilities.”

According to CargoWise edi, its highly modular, enterprise-class system streamlines operations, accounts and management duties of freight forwarders, customs brokers, container freight stations, ships agents, warehouses, cartage and trucking companies. The significant increase in shipment visibility leads to improved service and reduced operating costs.

“The value of our services will be increased with the addition of the ediEnterprise software,” stated Charlie Cape, Chief Information Officer for Ozburn-Hessey Logistics’ International Services Group. “The strong application architecture of the software coupled with the customer service support made CargoWise edi the right partner in supporting our global growth initiatives. OH Logistics looks forward to a long-term relationship with CargoWise edi that increases operational efficiencies throughout the supply chain.”
