With annual sales revenue of nearly $2 million, Chris Leach, area vice president for FirstLease in Atlanta, was named the 2007 Top Salesperson by NationaLease, a truck leasing organization. In March, Leach was one of 21 salespeople in the NationaLease System to be recognized with the organization’s Masters Club Platinum Award for sales excellence, an Award he has earned over six consecutive years.
“This is the first time he has won the Top Salesperson Award, but I have no doubt he will be in contention for the top spot for many years to come,” says Gene Scoggins, vice president of sales for Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based NationaLease. “He has shown extraordinary creativity and motivation in his sales efforts, and the results speak for themselves.”
Leach, who has been in the truck leasing industry for 13 years, sells full-service leasing and contract maintenance to some 75 customers in the West side of Atlanta. His client roster includes food service clients, building industries and a diverse group of logistics customers. At First Lease, he has sales as well as operational responsibility for the Florida, Georgia and Tennessee territories.
