Trimac Transportation, North America’s largest bulk commodities fleet, has enhanced its safety program with braking technology from Bendix Commercial Vehicles Systems LLC. Trimac added the Bendix Electronic Stability Program (ESP) to its fleet of tractors.

The fleet, which was awarded the 2007 National Tank Truck Carrier’s Outstanding Performance Trophy for vehicular and personal safety, also has added the Bendix TABS-6 trailer ABS system and Bendix ADB22X air disc brakes, Bendix says.

Trimac added the Bendix ESP full-stability technology through the purchase of Kenworth trucks, which include Bendix ESP functionality as a standard option with a delete credit on many of its highway tractor configurations.
