New England Truck Tire Centers Inc. has joined the Michelin Retread Technologies network as the newest franchisee by converting its retreading operations from the Bandag retreading process to the Michelin Retread Technologies process. MRT retreads now are available at seven New England Truck Tire Centers located throughout New Hampshire and Maine.

“Michelin is truly excited to have a top-quality servicing commercial tire dealer such as New England Truck Tire Centers join the ranks of MRT franchisees,” says Tom Brennan, vice president of Michelin Retread Technologies. “We believe that the MRT retreading system is a great fit for them in servicing their customer base with the highest-quality retreads and ultimately helping fleets reduce the overall cost of vehicle operation.”

New England Truck Tire Centers was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Scarborough, Maine. The company has 17 service trucks and two off-the-road trucks, and offers emergency roadside service on a 24-hour, 365 days-a-year basis. The new location covered by this agreement brings the total number of Michelin Retread Technologies plants to 76 in North America.

“Our company has enjoyed great success as a market leader because of our commitment to excellence, honesty, quality and our unwavering attention to products and processes,” says John Stevens, president of New England Truck Tire Centers. “MRT provides both the unparalleled process and the high-quality product that our customers want.”
