The Philadelphia Business Journal has named AmeriQuest Transportation Services of Camden County, N.J., as one of the 25 fastest-growing companies in Southern New Jersey. This is the fifth consecutive year AmeriQuest has been named to the South Jersey 25 list and came in at number three this year with revenue growth of 349 percent.
The top 25 companies were chosen and ranked by researchers at Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business. The award was presented at the 13th annual South Jersey 25 Awards luncheon at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden and was hosted by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University.
Nominees for the award were ranked by researchers of Rowan University’s William G. Rohrer College of Business according to percentage increase in sales from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, all 25 companies were required to have a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal 2007 and sales at or more than $75,000 in fiscal 2005. The qualified companies were required to be based in Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, Ocean, Cumberland or Cape May.
“This award is a testament to the success and the demand for the comprehensive menu of services AmeriQuest provides, which levels the playing field for small- and medium-size companies in the transportation industry and provides access to best practices, cost savings and the latest technology available,” says Douglas Clark, president and chief executive officer of Cherry Hill-based AmeriQuest.
