At 27 years of age with more than $1 million in 2007 sales revenue, Spruill Mayhew, business development manager of Logistic Leasing, has become the youngest person to receive The Masters Club Platinum Award for sales excellence from NationaLease, a North American full-service truck leasing organization.

In March, Mayhew was one of 21 salespeople in the NationaLease System to be recognized with the organization’s Platinum Award, a first-time honor for the resident of Raleigh, N.C. Mayhew began her career in the transportation industry just four years ago, selling dedicated contract carriage for West Brother’s Transportation Services in Durham, N.C., an affiliate of Logistic Leasing and three other transportation companies. She currently is responsible for leasing and rental of heavy equipment, as well as contract and noncontract maintenance services.

“Spruill has demonstrated a passion for our industry, and her accomplishments in only a few short years have been remarkable,” says Gene Scoggins, vice president of sales for Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based NationaLease. “This award is a testament to her dedication to her customers and the respect she has earned from her industry peers.”
