Monaco Trucking, a long-haul trucking company based in Grand Rapids, Mich., selected the Prophesy Dispatch Solution in December 2007 when rapid growth required them to adopt a new dispatch system. Monaco — which anticipates further growth with the addition of another 20 trucks this summer — says it now enjoys totally seamless integration between its dispatching and accounting software.
Monaco operates a fleet of dry vans, flatbeds and straight trucks that haul everything from furniture to food products. Co-owner George Mohr says the Prophesy package included integrated modules for dispatch, accounting, International Fuel Tax Agreement tax reporting, log auditing, driver compliance and much more.
“I am so relieved that we have made the switch to Prophesy,” Mohr says. “We have much more visibility and control over our daily operations, and things like tax reporting and accounting are no longer a headache for us. We can confidently continue to grow as a company, and that is very important to us.”
