CargoWise edi, a provider of integrated international supply chain logistics management systems, announced a strategic alliance with PC Plus, a Quebec, Canada-based supplier of IT and consulting services for the air cargo and transportation industry.
The agreement enables PC Plus to jointly market CargoWise edi’s flagship ediEnterprise software product throughout Canada, combining CargoWise edi’s strengths in the global freight forwarding market with PC Plus’s 20-year history and knowledge of the Canadian business environment and its transportation, logistics and IT services needs.
Eric Crespin, previously Vice President of PC Plus, has joined CargoWise edi as Vice President, Business Development – Canada. In his new responsibility, Mr. Crespin and his team at PC Plus will continue to support the Viva!Freight customer base and add ediEnterprise local support and training services to that skill set. Eric will also direct CargoWise edi’s expanded sales and marketing efforts throughout Canada and he and his team will assist CargoWise edi in integrating Viva!Freight features and Canada specific product attributes into its ediEnterprise platform.
The alliance will benefit PC Plus and CargoWise edi customers throughout Canada by providing forwarders, customs and logistics service providers with access to the highly automated, modular enterprise-class system offered globally by CargoWise edi.
