Industry veteran Tom Gosnell has been appointed to the board of directors as an adviser for the HDA Parts Network heavy-duty marketing group. Gosnell retired in 2006 from ArvinMeritor, where he was president of its Commercial Vehicle Systems business.
Gosnell, who also serves as an adviser to Phillips Industries and Decisiv, was on the board of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association and continues as an emeritus member of its Heavy Duty Business Forum. Gosnell also was the first inductee to the HD Aftermarket Hall of Fame.
“Tom’s vast knowledge of the global heavy-duty industry will be a great addition to the HDA Parts Network team,” says Pat Biermann, HDA president. “In addition to bringing an outside perspective on the industry, his vast knowledge of the industry will help in our direction for years to come. Tom brings a lot to the table and will help drive HDA to higher and greater plateaus.”
