Chene to manage Fleet Administrator sales for Navman Wireless

Navman Wireless North America, a global provider of vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, announced the appointment of Brian Chené as national sales manager for its Fleet Administrator program. Selected to manage the company’s Verizon Wireless channel, Chené will work with Verizon Wireless to develop the tools and programs it needs to support its sales efforts. Chené also will manage training of Verizon personnel and support its data team.

“Throughout his tenure with Navman Wireless, Brian’s customer relations and sales efforts have been exemplary,” says Renaat Ver Eecke, vice president of Glenview, Ill.-based Navman Wireless North America. “Combined with his extensive experience partnering with Verizon Wireless and broad understanding of the organization and its infrastructure, he is a natural and optimal choice for this important and distinguished role.”

Having served as Western regional sales manager for Navman Wireless since 2006, Chené has increased the company’s sales and distribution within the region dramatically, according to the company. Prior to joining Navman Wireless, he was the Western regional sales manager in a joint marketing associate role for Econz, a New Zealand-based BREW software solutions provider, where he provided sales support and training for its Verizon Wireless B2B channel.
