Jimmy Wallace, a driver for Stallion Transportation Group in Beebe, Ark., recently received the Arkansas Trucking Association 2007 Driver of the Year Award. Wallace, 76, has clocked more than four million accident-free miles and 30 consecutive years without a preventable accident. He has attended every quarterly driver meeting of the company since 2000.

G.E. “Butch” Rice III, Stallion’s president and member of the Arkansas Trucking Association board of directors, attended the awards presentation. In nominating Wallace, Rice wrote that Wallace is a “humble and giving individual” and that he has the respect of his fellow drivers and serves as a resource for them.
