Comdata Corporation, a provider of payment solutions, has expanded into the construction industry through the integration of fuel and purchasing transactions with construction-specific ERP systems. Dexter + Chaney, an ERP system serving more than 1,000 customers in the construction industry, has chosen the Comdata MasterCard solution as its preferred provider. Comdata will provide Dexter + Chaney with a co-branded payment card solution that will allow enhanced purchasing controls and integrate costs faster than traditional non-card payment methods.

“The Comdata solution will allow Dexter + Chaney customers to manage their budgets more efficiently by integrating their job costs quicker,” said John Chaney, co-founder and president, Dexter + Chaney. “There is no other card solution that is easier for the construction industry to use than the Comdata MasterCard.”

“Comdata’s alliance with Dexter + Chaney solidifies our position as the leading fuel and purchasing card for the construction industry,” said Brett Rodewald, president of Comdata. “Our payment card solution provides better integration and spending controls so that construction companies can gain incremental cost savings and revenue share to succeed and thrive in this difficult economy.”
