Old Dominion Freight Line recently announced the expansion of its supply chain services with a new warehouse service offering. The company says the offering will provide state-of-the art warehouse management systems that are powered by SAP from strategically located facilities in the nation’s major gateways.

The service will offer numerous value-added services such as pick and pack, replenishment, labeling, Web-based visibility and reporting, as well as many other services. “We are very excited about our entry into the warehouse and distribution service space,” says Rick Keeler, senior vice president of strategic development. “Our warehousing solutions are designed to assist companies without in-house logistics services. We want to help those companies focus on their core competencies by supporting them with our warehousing solution.”

The warehousing division will be managed by Chris Reynolds, who Keeler says has an extensive background in supply chain and warehouse services. “Chris and his team have worked very hard to develop an excellent solution for our customers,” Keeler says.
