Volvo Trucks North America recently introduced a special website – http://environment.volvotrucksnorthamerica.com – called “Volvo Trucks & Environmental Care” where it shows how the company’s products, operations and facilities demonstrate its core value of environmental care and the value to customers, employees and society.
The website also provides detailed information about selective catalytic reduction – Volvo’s solution for meeting the stringent EPA 2010 emissions regulations. It includes a downloadable podcast that promotes the advantages of SCR. Other sections of the website include detail the environmental performance of current Volvo truck models and an interactive “emissions calculator.”
