Freightliner LLC has named Standard Register a recipient of this year’s Masters of Quality Award. A five-time recipient of the award, Standard Register is a provider of document and print management services. Freightliner will present the Masters of Quality Award to Standard Register employees located at the company’s manufacturing facility in Radcliff, Ky.

Freightliner has presented this award to the top one percent of its 3,000-plus supplier base for the past 20 years. The Masters of Quality Award is the highest recognition that Freightliner gives to its suppliers, representing the best of the best among suppliers providing parts and components to Freightliner businesses. Recipients of the award must demonstrate exceptional results in delivering quality parts and components, and display an ongoing commitment to quality improvement.

“Fewer suppliers have been recognized this year with our Masters of Quality Award because the quality bar has been set higher than ever,” says Paul Romanaggi, general manager of quality for Freightliner. “As the bar continues to rise, it’s suppliers like Standard Register that are instrumental in helping us deliver quality products to our customers year after year.”

Standard Register supplies Freightliner with manufacturing parts solutions, including tamper-resistant decals, product identification labels, compliance consulting and design expertise, as well as supply chain management through the company’s Label Management Inventory System. In order to receive a Masters of Quality Award, these products and services must meet stringent criteria related to quality assurance, service, aftermarket parts, materials, engineering, warranty and purchasing.

“It is a great honor to receive this Masters of Quality supplier award from Freightliner,” says Mike Gibson, managing director of the manufacturing market for Standard Register. “It’s a tribute to our team effort within the manufacturing industry. By leveraging our people, processes and technology, customer expectations were met and, in many cases, exceeded. We look forward to continuing and expanding our relationship with Freightliner.”
