Karmak, a provider of computer systems and business management systems in the heavy-duty truck industry, recently released its Point-of-Sale Fleet Pricing software interface for International Truck & Engine dealers. The Carlinville, Ill.-based company also recently expanded its sales force by adding two regional managers.

The new software interface is designed to allow International dealers using Karmak business systems to verify fleet customers’ prices on eligible parts electronically prior to finalizing an invoice — providing secure, accurate price verification — and is accessed easily when processing orders and estimates at parts and service counters. For more information, go to www.karmak.com/OEM.html.

Karmak says its two new regional managers will increase the company’s presence in the Central and Southwest U.S. regions. Both managers will establish new regional offices in their respective territories.

Phillip Hirsch is Karmak’s new regional manager for Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Hirsch brings more than 20 years of senior management experience in the commercial truck industry, including executive positions with major rental, leasing, finance and insurance companies. He is a former member of the Truck Renting and Leasing Association, serving on various committees within that organization.

Steven Stockdale joins Karmak as regional manager for California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Stockdale comes to Karmak with considerable experience in the heavy-duty truck market. His career includes many years in the heavy-duty truck dealership and original equipment manufacturer industries, including general management, new and used vehicle sales management, parts management and district management. Formerly, Stockdale served in various positions of significant responsibility for Volvo Truck Corp.
