Mack Trucks Inc. has announced that it now offers Bendix ADB22X heavy-duty air disc brakes on the Mack Pinnacle Axle Forward and Mack Pinnacle Axle Back models. Also, Volvo Trucks North America announced that it now includes Bendix ADB22X heavy-duty air disc brakes on its VN and VT models.
Mack initially is offering the Bendix disc brakes on 12,000-lb. front and 40,000-lb. rear supplier axles. Volvo is offering the disc brakes on front and rear axles on VNs and VTs with 12,000- to 13,200-lb. front axle ratings and 40,000-lb. rear axle ratings; the disc brakes also can be ordered for front axle only.
Visitors to Mack’s booth (No. 18086) at the Great American Trucking Show Aug. 21-23 in Dallas will have the opportunity to see a complete installation on an actual vehicle.
