America’s Road Team was in Somerset, Ky., Aug. 7-9 to educate motorcyclists at the Kentucky Blue Grass Blast on how to drive safely alongside tractor-trailers. Captains Wayne Crowder (FedEx Freight) and Clarence Jenkins (UPS Freight) talked to members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association about the life of a professional truck driver and the essentiality of the industry. They also gave tips on good driving practices and stage demonstrations on how motorcycles can pass a truck safely.
