GE technicians receive top recognitions

GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services has announced that two members of its Maintenance & Safety Solutions team have received top automotive and fleet industry recognitions.

Paul Heschke, a technical adviser on GE’s Maintenance & Safety Solutions team, was awarded the World-Class Technician Award from the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association. Professional technicians must successfully complete the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in 22 specialty areas. Since the award was established in 1987, fewer than 1,750 technicians have received this designation.

Mark Lange, a technical specialist on GE’s Maintenance & Safety Solutions team, achieved the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) designation. NAFA Fleet Management Association’s CAFM program recognizes individuals who are experts in the fleet management field. To achieve the designation, recipients must complete a rigorous course of study, be knowledgeable in current practices and procedures in fleet management, and pass an eight-section written exam. Only a few hundred have achieved this high professional recognition.
