Maptuit Corp. — a Burlington, Mass.-based provider of two-way connected real-time commercial navigation, location-based services and real-time traffic information and vehicle tracking solutions — announced that Watsontown Trucking Co. has deployed Maptuit NaviGo across its fleet’s entire DT400 Truck PC from DriverTech.

Started in 1941 as a coal and brick hauling company with three trucks and three trailers, Watsontown Trucking today employs 265 people. The fleet now totals 215 trucks and 600 trailers headquartered in its newly constructed operations and maintenance center located on 25 acres in Milton, Pa. Watsontown Trucking is a 100 percent asset-based trucking company providing transportation services to all 48 states and Canada.

Maptuit NaviGo is a two-way connected real-time commercial navigation solution designed to deliver directions via satellite, cellular or Wi-Fi communication modes, with the ability to calculate all requested routes on Maptuit’s server farm; this hybrid approach allows for each route requested to be the most up-to-date route sent to the unit and received by the driver. Maptuit says NaviGo can be integrated into a fleet’s dispatch system.
