Maptuit Corporation, a two-way connected, real-time commercial navigation, Locations Based Services and Real-time traffic information and Vehicle Tracking solutions, announced Watsontown Trucking has deployed Maptuit NaviGo across their fleet’s entire DT400 Truck PC from DriverTech.

Watsontown Trucking totals 215 trucks and 600 trailers headquartered on 25 acres in Milton, PA. Watsontown Trucking Company is a 100 percent asset based trucking company providing transportation services to all 48 states and Canada.

Maptuit NaviGo is a two-way connected, real-time, commercial navigation solution that can deliver directions via satellite, cellular or wi-fi communication modes, with the ability to calculate all requested routes on Maptuit’s server farm. This hybrid approach allows for each route requested to be the most up-to-date route sent to the unit and received by the driver, the company says. NaviGo can be integrated into the dispatch system, allowing dispatchers to manage and communicate with drivers.

“Watsontown is now providing Maptuit’s connected commercial, truck specific, real-time directions to the driver though Maptuit NaviGo”, stated Chad Mensch, Director of Operations, Watsontown. “We subscribe to NaviGo not only because of its ability to keep driver’s on safe roads which is very important to us but also because we know that during the down cycles of our economy, navigation helps to save on fuel, time and wear and tear of our vehicles NaviGo is a critical component in any Watsontown in-cab solution.”
