Flynn Transportation Services, based in Charlotte, N.C., has announced the addition of four employees to its operations department:

  • Gary Spencer joins Flynn with more than 20 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations. His background in both operations and less-than-truckload consolidation will enhance Flynn’s expanding LTL solutions for its customer base.
  • Leroy Gause joins Flynn with a background in both logistics operations and asset-based carriers. Gause’s extensive truckload operations background allows Flynn to accelerate the development of its carrier base, complementing the recently created carrier relations department.
  • James McClain joins Flynn from Kellogg Brown and Root. Stationed in Iraq as a senior logistics coordinator, McClain was responsible for providing support for both air and ground operations of the U.S. military. McClain’s experience and service dedication are an excellent fit with Flynn’s service culture.
  • John Mullis was president for an equipment and rental service business serving businesses in the North Carolina area. With a diverse background in sales, customer service and operations, Mullis grew the business by more than 50 percent during his tenure.
