Freightliner Trucks announced Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas that a new chrome accessories package is available for the Freightliner Cascadia. The truck maker says this combination pairs the industry’s most aerodynamic and fuel efficient Class 8 vehicle with sleek new customization options, further enhancing the Cascadia’s unique driving experience.
Made by Panelite, a designer and manufacturer of decorative stainless steel accessories for Class 8 heavy-duty trucks, the new package will offer two trim levels and includes options for cab panels, marker lights, fender and grille trim, and coordinating interior products. Panelite is also the long-time supplier of chrome trim options for the Freightliner Coronado and Classic.
“We know that Cascadia drivers are proud of their trucks, and like to stand out from the crowd,” says Melissa Clausen, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “Our new chrome package options give drivers the ability to trick out their vehicles, while still enjoying all of the Cascadia’s extensive benefits. It is truly the best of both worlds.”
The new accessories will be available to order for the Cascadia in October 2008.
