At the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, Great Dane Trailers featured its most popular platform trailer, the combination steel and aluminum Freedom (48 feet), with Meritor RSS (Roll Stability Support) – which helps prevent rollovers – and CorroGuard spray-in-place thermoplastic elastomer coating, which, applied to suspensions and support gear, provides long-term protection from road abrasion and corrosion.
The Savannah, Ga.-based company also displayed its 53-foot Super Seal trailer, a lightweight reefer designed for the truckload carrier. This trailer features CorroGuard and also the company’s ThermoGuard interior lining, which helps maximize the usefulness of the trailer by reducing the thermal degradation that occurs with conventional reefer linings. The trailer also features a Hendrickson Tiremaax tire inflation system and RSSplus system.
