Third-party logistics provider NLM announced the introduction of truckload brokerage services as part of its suite of transportation solutions. NLM says that with the new service, customers will be able to leverage its carrier relationships and expertise to manage all of their truckload shipping needs.

A full-service offering, NLM Truckload Brokerage includes shipment management from initial setup through invoicing, and comprises both standard equipment and specialized equipment, including flatbeds, dropdecks and curtainsides. NLM says it will manage the new service via a network of qualified carriers to provide customers access to flexible truckload capacity, competitive rates and responsive service.

“NLM Truckload Brokerage provides another option for customers seeking to find the best transportation method for their shipments,” says Greg Humes, president of Detroit-based NLM. “We are confident that through our strong carrier relationships, our truckload brokerage service will deliver the same high-quality service customers have come to expect from NLM’s other shipment management solutions.”

NLM says the addition of truckload brokerage services is its latest step in strategically expanding its expertise into noncritical shipments. Truckload brokerage will be offered as part of the NLM AllWays On Command Center’s OnPoint Dynamic shipment management services.
