Technology developed by uFollowit enables any company to have instant voice signature confirmation of the time and place of a shipment’s pickup, delivery or intermediate location turned into text, the company announced at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.
A call from a driver’s cell phone to a dedicated phone number records a voice signature, time of the call and shipment order number; uFollowit’s server then transforms the voice information into text that either can be e-mailed or tracked online instantly. A company can track an unlimited number of shipments, and the service can be expanded at low cost, according to uFollowit.
