Paccar touts Acrafit anti-siphon device to impede fuel theft

Paccar Parts says its Acrafit anti-siphon device can help heavy-duty truck operators and truck fleets prevent fuel theft.

The aftermarket device — which features a proprietary design that helps facilitate additional security, easy installation and rapid fueling — is installed in the neck of the fuel tank. Its one-piece construction, with openings no larger than a quarter inch, helps prevent thieves from reaching the diesel fuel with large-diameter siphon tubes.
