Pegasus TransTech today, April 15, introduced Transflo 2010, which the company describes as an evolutionary update of its document management and imaging software for the transportation industry. Transflo 2010 is currently in beta for general release in June.

Transflo 2010 is the latest version of the company’s imaging solution that it says efficiently processes, stores and retrieves critical business documents – proof of delivery, bills of lading, packing lists, receipts, employment applications, accident reports and more. Transflo 2010 is designed to integrate seamlessly with other software systems, including Transflo Express, Pegasus TransTech’s truckstop scanning solution.

According to Bob Helms, chairman and chief executive officer of Tampa, Fla.-based Pegasus TransTech, the new Transflo 2010 offers additional power, scalability and intelligent business tools. “Transflo 2010 provides what we call ‘low-touch, no-touch’ document processing,” Helms says. “We’ve minimized the need for manual processing in the flow of data and documents. The objective is to have people manage exceptions, not tons of paper and data. It can be a tremendous savings in human resources and time.”

Pegasus TransTech says Transflo 2010 includes robust new tools that provide more management reports to enable intelligent business analysis for measuring and improving productivity. The bottom-line impact, according to the company, is that Transflo 2010 helps reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) to a bare minimum and increases cash flow.
