Mobileye Inc., a provider of vision-based driver assistance systems and analytics for automotive manufacturers and suppliers, announced the establishment of retail and distribution relationships with Van Nuys, Calif.-based Al & Ed’s Autosound, a mobile electronics specialist; and Vancouver, B.C.-based Dealers’ Edge, a sound and security installer and distributor.
Effective immediately, Mobileye’s Advance Warning System (AWS) aftermarket driver assistance products will be accessible for purchase and installation at the more than 20 Al & Ed’s retail outlets in California; and at the Dealers’ Edge network of nearly 200 new- and used-car dealers, small fleets and specialty shops, as well as recreational vehicles, motorhomes and heavy trucks throughout Canada.
Mobileye driver assistance technologies, such as forward-collision warning, headway monitoring and lane-departure warning systems, are designed to help alert drivers to potentially life-threatening situations.
