Travis Body & Trailer Inc. — a Houston-based manufacturer of trailers, including end dumps, transfer trailers, aluminum bottom dumps and dump bodies — announced the addition of Larry Butterfield as its new Midwest regional sales manager, effectively immediately. In conjunction with this new hire, Travis has realigned its regional sales staff’s territorial assignments.
Butterfield will represent Travis in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has spent several years working the region as a representative of a walking floor manufacturing company and is familiar with the trailer industry. Butterfield will be based in Kansas.
Bob Sewell, who has been managing the Midwest territory for Travis, is moving over to manage both the Western and Mountain West territories. Sewell will continue to be based in Oklahoma.
