Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems announced that Beall Corp. has selected Haldex Trailer Roll Stability (TRS) as a standard product offering beginning July 1.

The Haldex Trailer Roll Stability system, built on the company’s latest 4S/2M ABS platform, is designed for one- to three- or more axle semi-trailers using air-ride suspensions; the system also is available for pull trailers behind straight trucks and recently was developed for standard spring suspensions. The Kansas City, Mo.-based company says the system is designed to deliver superior braking performance by adjusting for the trailer conditions during normal and ABS braking events, as well as to intervene with active braking if conditions indicate a rollover is imminent.

Beall Corp., based in Portland, Ore., now has five factories and 11 sales branches. Its products include aluminum petroleum tanks, pneumatics, bottom dumps, end dumps and dump bodies. In addition to manufacturing trailers, Beall also features a full line of heavy-duty parts and service. Beall says its service centers can install approved Haldex TRS retrofits for older Beall trailers.
