New Life Transport Parts Center announced the acquisition of Trailmobile Parts. New Life says the asset purchase, terms of which were not disclosed, includes the exclusive rights to the distribution of Trailmobile’s aftermarket repair parts in North America.
Trailmobile, based in Erlanger, Ky., will operate as a separate New Life entity, continuing to supply Trailmobile parts to authorized Trailmobile outlets. In addition, New Life has added a fully staffed sales office in Florence, Ky. New Life says its customers now have access to both Trailmobile and Strick aftermarket repair parts from any of its seven regional warehouse locations.
“With the addition of Trailmobile to our system, we have strengthened our competitive market position and added significant value to our product offering,” says Robert Hinton, president and chief executive officer of New Life, based in Grand Rapids, Mich. “Trailmobile will enhance our value-added proposition to our entire customer base.”
