TravelCenters of America announced today, June 12, that all 234 of its TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers branded locations are stocked with 2.5-gallon containers of diesel exhaust fluid for retail sale. The company says the vented bottle style, supplied by Colonial Chemical Co., will optimize flow speed and includes an extended nozzle for easy dispensing.
TravelCenters also says that DEF now is available to every one of the 400 RoadSquad emergency roadside assistance vehicles at TA and Petro locations for trucks who run out of DEF while on the highway.
TravelCenters, based in Westlake, Ohio, announced in May the successful launch of its first retail DEF bulk dispensing operation at its facility in Ann Arbor, Mich. TA says it developed the dispensing equipment in conjunction with Colonial Chemical, based in Tabernacle, N.J.
