PrePass – a system that enables motor carriers to electronically comply with weight, safety and credential requirements at more than 280 locations in 29 states – announced a new product suite of three value-adding services.
Ground Traffic Control (GTC) is an electronic inspection, tracking and management system for fleet operations. Drivers use a Zonar handheld reader to perform an electronic vehicle inspection. A Web-based data management application enables carriers to ensure pre- and post-trip inspection compliance. The product also offers GPS asset tracking and real-time access to a vehicle’s JBus for vehicle and driver performance data through wireless transmission.
eLogs is a log scanning and auditing service. Fleets send their paper or scanned images of driver logs to PrePass. Within 24 hours, audited logs are available on a Web-based management application for managers to view results by driver and by violation type.
Gates is a fully-integrated gate control access and management system that lets drivers enter and exit terminals using their PrePass transponder.
