CCJ webinar to address texting, distraction

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s new policy on texting by commercial drivers and motor carrier views on handheld devices and other distractions for drivers are among the topics to be discussed in the next CCJ webinar to be held Thursday, Feb. 25.

Panelists for the one-hour webinar, which is sponsored by Qualcomm, include:

Larry Minor, FMCSA associate administrator for policy and program development;

Robert Petrancosta, vice president of safety for Con-way Freight; and

Matthew Skembo, director of safety for Ruan Transport Corp.
