In response to the need for relief supplies and donations following the powerful series of earthquakes that have rocked Chile this year, Kinedyne Corp. has joined a relief effort spearheaded by Epysa Implementos Ltd., the company’s primary distribution partner in the region.

Initiated by Epysa, as well as several other companies and members of the local trucking community, the effort will bring supplies to Constitucion, a particular area of the VII and VIII region and one of the most devastated cities in the country. The relief effort will be coordinated by Juan Francisco Novion, general director of Epysa Implementos Ltd. and Epysa Club. This initiative will provide truckers and their families who were directly impacted by the disaster with basic necessities, including food and thermal blankets.

“Kinedyne has been doing business in Chile for more than 12 years, so we understand the people, and we were greatly moved by their plight in the aftermath of this disaster.” says Amador Garcia, Kinedyne’s director of sales for Latin America. “This relief effort organized by our friends at Epysa seemed like an ideal opportunity for us to help the people impacted by this tragic event.”

Epysa Implementos is Kinedyne’s principal distributor of cargo control products in Chile and the leading supplier of aftermarket parts for trailers, trucks and buses in the region. The Epysa Group consists of several operating companies including Epysa Club, Epysa Implementos, Epysa Buses, Epysa Equipos, Fitrans Epysa, BusVMarket Epysa and Mundo LCV.
