Qualcomm Incorporated and Pana-Pacific, a supplier and engineering partner to the commercial vehicle market, announced the implementation of their distribution agreement that allows Pana-Pacific to market and resell Qualcomm’s Service Fleet Manager mobile resource management solution to the commercial vehicle market.

“Our alliance couldn’t have come at a better time because, now more than ever before, customers are learning the financial benefits that telematics products can provide,” says John Trenberth, president of Pana-Pacific. “Qualcomm’s proven reputation for quality products and service is well known in our industry, thus making our partnership a significant match. We’re excited to join forces and hit the ground running.”

Qualcomm’s Service Fleet Manager is an in-vehicle mobile resource management solution that uses GPS technology to give fleets visibility into their assets and provide an immediate snapshot of critical vehicle information through a Web-based interface. It can help cut fuel consumption, reduce overtime hours, boost revenue and improve customer satisfaction with more efficient scheduling and routing.

“Pana-Pacific is a natural fit for Qualcomm,” says Norm Ellis, vice president of sales, services and marketing for Qualcomm Enterprise Services. “We look forward to the opportunity to provide their customers with a solution to more efficiently manage the costs and productivity of their fleet operations.”
